Role description:

As a Senior Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in driving the growth of the company by acquiring high-value business opportunities and fostering long-term strategic partnerships. You will lead the business development efforts by managing key accounts, generating significant new business, and optimizing relationships with key stakeholders.

As Senior Business Development Manager you will be:

  • Acquiring new high-value clients and strategic partnerships in the fintech space, focusing on e-commerce and in-store payment solutions.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to generate high-quality leads and convert them into long-term business relationships.

  • Oversee a portfolio of high-value clients, ensuring exceptional service and identifying opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional services and solutions.

  • Work directly and indirectly on market presence of Twisto e.g. participation in industry events (trade fairs, conferences, etc.) as an exhibitor and/or presenter;

  • Supporting marketing initiatives;

  • Collaborating with internal teams to evaluate performance and initiate new product ideas and drive enablement and lead generation activities;

  • Participation in the definition of internal processes to support business and company growth.

Job requirements

  • Min. of 7 years of experience in sales (experience in e-commerce / FinTech / BNPL / financial services industry / payment services / merchant acceptance or cards etc. will be an asset); 

  • Knowledge of payments industry is an asset;

  • Proven track record and an existing network of merchants;

  • Strong networking skills and the ability to build effective business relationships;

  • Focus on goal, growth and the customers;

  • Ability and comfort in working independently and in a dynamic environment; 

  • Self-motivation, positive thinking and a solution-oriented mindset;

  • English (min. B2 level);

  • Bachelor’s degree.
