Risk Manager

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a skilled and independent Risk Manager to help strengthen our risk management function and support our long-term strategy.

Your future challenges:

• Own and enhance the Operational Risk Framework and Risk Event Database, ensuring accurate tracking and analysis of incidents;

• Lead incident investigations, ensuring timely escalation, root cause analysis, and remediation;

• Facilitate Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs) and drive periodic risk reviews across departments;

• Oversee third-party risk assessment and management processes;

• Monitor relevant regulatory developments (e.g., DORA, PSD2/PSD3, GDPR, EBA Guidelines) and ensure effective integration into the risk framework;

• Support the company's risk strategy, collaborate with business teams to identify and mitigate risks;

• Develop and maintain risk policies, KRIs, and dashboards for management and Risk Committees;

• Partner with Compliance and Legal to assess regulatory impact of new products or market expansions;

• Build strong cross-functional relationships to ensure risk is integrated into business planning and innovation processes.

• Min. 5 years of experience in risk management, preferably within fintech or financial services;

• Be able to act as a trusted advisor on operational and regulatory risk matters;

• Knowledge of operational risk frameworks and tools (RCSA, ORED, KRIs);

• Up-to-date knowledge of financial services regulations, particularly DORA, PSD2, GDPR, etc;

• Have strong analytical and reporting skills  (Excel, Power BI, or similar tools);

• Excellent communication skills - ability to communicate risk findings and requirements clearly across technical and non-technical stakeholders;

• Experience with JIRA and Confluence;

• Czech at native speaker level; English at min. B2 level
