Job description

Twisto, a Param Company, is a modern financial services provider operating across Central and Eastern Europe. Through our app, customers gain full control over their payments - they can defer or split purchases, share expenses, pay invoices, or shop using virtual and physical cards. We bring clarity, convenience, and fair exchange rates at home and abroad. Twisto is growing fast, continuously innovating, and expanding our services to make everyday financial life easier.

We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer who will help us build, automate, and improve the infrastructure and tooling that keeps Twisto running smoothly. You’ll become part of a skilled and collaborative team that values innovation, automation, and efficiency.

What you’ll be working on:

As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in evolving and scaling our infrastructure and engineering practices. Over the next year, the team will be focused on several strategic initiatives, including:

  • Modernizing and improving our CI/CD ecosystem, with a strong focus on reusable, standardized pipelines and adapting existing applications and microservices to a unified delivery approach.

  • Evolving our monitoring and observability stack, including transitioning between monitoring solutions and strengthening system visibility, reliability, and alerting.

  • Improving autoscaling and performance of cloud resources, ensuring the platform can scale efficiently while maintaining stability and resilience.

  • Optimizing cloud costs and resource utilization in AWS through smarter infrastructure design and automation.

  • Driving Infrastructure as Code as a core principle, ensuring all infrastructure and operational processes are fully codified and serve as a single source of truth.

  • Enhancing security practices across infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and runtime environments.

  • Continuously improving system observability, reliability, and operational excellence in close collaboration with engineering teams.

This role is ideal for a DevOps engineer who enjoys working in a structured team environment, is open to learning and experimentation, and takes pride in improving systems step by step. We encourage sharing ideas, adopting new tools where appropriate, and continuously refining our DevOps and infrastructure practices.

What Twisto can offer:

  • A place to grow and do meaningful work - We support you in developing your skills, taking ownership of your projects, and sharing ideas that improve the way we work.

  • Friendly and open culture - No dress codes, no unnecessary bureaucracy. We’re a close-knit, collaborative team that values transparency and agility - and while we’re not fully there yet, we’re striving for simplicity, supported by the right amount of documentation

  • Work where it suits you - Whether you prefer the office, remote work, or something in between, we’re flexible (but you have to be based within the EU, ideally in the Czech Republic).

  • Benefits you’ll actually use - MultiSport card, Benefit Card, fresh fruits 🍎 in the office, team events, and at least 5 weeks of vacation per year.

  • Be part of something exciting - Twisto is growing in Europe, and your work will directly contribute to that journey 🌍.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability, or Infrastructure Engineer role.

  • Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, container orchestration, debugging, and Helm chart deployments.

  • Solid knowledge of AWS.

  • Experience with CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).

  • Practical knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible).

  • Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus & Grafana stack); experience with Datadog is a plus.

  • Strong understanding of networking, security, and Linux system administration.

  • Experience with Python and Bash for automation tasks.

  • Experience working in agile environments (Scrum).

  • Knowledge of Spec-Driven Development and Documentation as Code principles is a plus.

  • Experience with ArgoCD, HashiCorp Vault, Traefik is a plus.

  • Curiosity, strong sense of responsibility, and a team-first mindset.
